lights 1In its inaugural year, Bethlehem Hills Christmas Light Park is the brainchild of Walter Miraglia, owner of Berkshire Hills Golf Course. Still a kid at heart, Walter cherishes the memories of being a young boy, enchanted by the dazzling Christmas lights, heartwarming carols and joy of the Christmas season. “I wanted to create something for people to remind them of the true meaning of Christmas,” Walt describes with a smile. “For me, I don’t say, ‘Happy Holidays.’ I unapologetically exclaim, ‘Merry Christmas,’ to all this season!”

Each breathtaking exhibit was handcrafted by Rodney Nagy. Nagy was able to bring Walter’s dream alive with more than 2 million LED lights, many displays using automation and animation.

Throughout the Christmas season, special guests will be visiting Bethlehem Hills Christmas Light Park. These guests include:

A portion of all proceeds of Bethlehem Hills Christmas Light Park will go toward three charities: the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House and VALOR Retreat at High Rock. The Valor Retreat at High Rock is a new, local, nonprofit organization involved in building handicap-accessible cabins in Hocking Hills for returning Armed Services personnel to vacation free of charge with their families. Miraglia proudly served in the Marine Corp as a young man. Tis the season of giving!
